Ladies Offshore Sailing

A fantastic opportunity to experience offshore sailing on board a 40’ yacht. The trip will commence with a safety brief on board the approved training yacht before departing for some training within Moreton Bay. Once everyone is comfortable with the yacht you will head north out of Moreton Bay. You will enjoy the delights of night sailing before making landfall at Mooloolaba (generally by midnight). After a night on board in the marina and a relaxing start you will sail south again with the second night spent at an anchorage or harbour in the northern end of the Bay e.g. Tangalooma or Scarborough.

This 3 day trip is both a training trip and a holiday in one and includes meals and accommodation on board the yacht.
Your fully qualified Instructor will guide you through the mysteries of sailing the yacht which is comfortably fitted out for cruising to make this trip an enjoyable experience. Previous sailing experience is recommended prior to doing this offshore trip.

The trip will be weather dependent and if the weather is unsuitable for offshore sailing then the sailing trip will be conducted in Moreton Bay.

At the Southern Cross School of Yachting we teach sailing in the simplest and most enjoyable way possible so you will not only learn more, but  you will have a great time doing it!
